Day six (Friday-October 17)
On Friday we went to
visit Antwerp.
In Antwerp the railway
station was very historical. It was very big and beautiful. You can feel
yourself in ancient times. The city was also very historical, too.
The students had a city
game again to find and take the photos of the historical places and aspects of
Antwerp.
We had a nice guide who
told us nearly every important thing of Antwerp. We had great information by
the help of her. Thanks to her.
In our free time in
Antwerp we walked around the city and saw the really nice expensive diamond
jewelry shops.
After the visit of
Antwerp, the Belgian Evening was waiting for us. The host families and The
Belgian Teachers prepared that unforgettable evening for us. It was really
nice. The students and the teachers sang the song ‘ık hou van u’ together. It
was unforgettable.
At the end of the evening the students, some of the host families were
crying because leaving time came. The week ended very quickly for everyone. The
week was full of friendship, hospitality and memories.
But unfortunately, every nice thing has an end.
