Friday morning meant farewell to the beloved friends for the host students and families. It was hard to say goodbye for them.
Journey to İstanbul started with these feelings. First destination of ours in İstanbul was Dolmabahçe Palace. Breakfast there was delicious and the fascinating view of it amazed us all.

Visits to Sultanahmet, Ayasofya and Topkapı Palace proved the unusual beauty of İstanbul. Shopping at Grand Bazaar gave us a chance to buy nice souvenirs.
Finally, it was dinner time in a night-show restaurant with some surprises-traditional folk dance performance and belly dance, of course.

At the end of the night, we had to say goodbye to our nice guests. We were extremely happy to see you in Türkiye and to be honest we as a team enjoyed every minute of it. When we look back, we just remember the wonderful time we had together. Thank you very much for your company and for your great understanding.
We are really looking forward to meeting again.

Turkish team loves you forever:))

Having a traditional breakfast in a village by the sea was a nice start of the day.

After the breakfast, it was time to set out for Ereğli. The tour began with the war ship-Alemdar-which was used in World War 1 and converted into a museum today.

We also discovered the interesting caves in Ereğli.

In the evening we turned back to Zonguldak to make the soul of the games body and create the new games. Thanks to the great efforts of our students, the body seemed great when finished.

Then brainstorming and creativeness of all the students worked and they achieved to make really enjoyable new games.

Later, with the help of Karaoke party students enjoyed the rhytmes of the music and singing alltogether.

We set off all together for Safranbolu visit. It was marvelous to see the ancient city and learn about its history.

The tour with golf cars enabled us to explore the city with some adventures.  Thanks God, we didn't need to push the cars:)

The traditional meal in a village in Safranbolu was quite tasty. The atmoshphere was relaxing there.

Then on our way to Amasra, we stopped over to see a canyon and experienced to walk on a glass platform over the canyon. There is little to say about the view-amazing and unforgettable.

We failed to see the fascinating view of Amasra in daylight as we could arrive there in the evening. But that didn't prevent us to enjoy the walking by the seaside and learn about its past.

Tuesday morning was the time for most of us to have an unforgettable experience-going hundreds of meters down in a coal mine. Wearing just like them, it was awesome to see and feel the lives of coal miners.

After this fantastic mine visit, teachers and students met at the dorm for the presentations. Each partner presented the games movies. It was interesting to notice the similarities and differences between the games.

The great day went on with the outdoor activity. We all went to a picnic area and had an enjoyable time playing games freely.

At 10.30 all partners were at the school-Erdemir Anadolu Lisesi- for the opening ceremony of the meeting.
We hoped that it would be first chance to know eachother. The movies were prepared about the students of Turkish Team. The host students movies were played first and the guest students and teachers introduced themselves.

Later on, it was time for all of us to send our good wishes writing them on a piece of paper and sticking on the wish tree. It was really fascinating to see the wish tree with lots of good wishes on it.We hope all our dreams will come true.

After that, the students went to play bowling and enjoyed their free time.

At that time teachers were having the future of meeting.

Türkiye Meeting 10-16 November 2013

10th November 2013
Do you know what the most important thing is at the beginning of a Comenius project?
It is the first impression.
We will be six different countries. We will be six different cultures and counting with the students 31 different people will come to your life at the same time.
How do you feel in our position?
Sometimes we feel excited, sometimes worried, sometimes happy and sometimes we feel three of them, because you will never know what will be at the end.
When I turned back and remembered the full week in Türkiye, I can now say ' I love you' my new and forever friends.
