We left the hotel at 07.15  for the airport in Ljubljana .Ludvic sent off Turkish team from the hotel which was very kind of him. We arrived Turkey safe and sound.
Turkish team are grateful to Slovenian team for their hospitality and great attention. :))

16 January 2015


We gathered in front of the hotel Zvezda at 8.00 in order to leave for Kodila rpsciuitto producing facility. We had snack there. Also groups had the chance of doing some shopping of their products.

 Then, we went to fascinating city Maribor. First, we visited wine cellar Vinag in Maribor. It was very surprising to learn that it was the biggest wine cellar in Europe. We also had the chance of seeing the biggest concrete wine barrel there. Then we went back to city centre and had guided tour around Maribor. The weather was very shiny and we had great time there. We also saw the oldest grapewine that is 400 years old. It was free time till 15.10 .Then we went to ski resort at Pohorje hill near Maribor. We experienced  an impressive cable tour to the top of the hill. The view was so wonderful.










        The luch was at Betnava hotel. We had good meal there.
After late luch we went to II. Gimnazij to see musical Romeo and Juliet. It began at 18.00 The students’ performances were so professional and great. We had excellent time there. The musical was a good final. After the musical, it was time for departure to Murska Sobota.






15 January 2015


All the teachers and students met at school at 8.30. Everybody attended  a class of Slovenian language. We gained a lot during this lesson. After this lesson, teachers attended teachers’ meeting of the future of the project.

At the same time, students were given the task of film production about Murska Sobota. Students prepared their films in groups. And they presented their films. All the groups were very successful at describing the city.
 After the presentations, students gathered to prepare cookery e-book. Students of every partner country worked together to prepare the cookery e-book of their part. Then it was lunch time at 13.30 and 14.30.




After lunch it was time to give soul to food body .  It was really interesting to see different cultural meals, products and marks on project  body.






 We ended working at 15.30. There was free time for groups in Murska Sobota until 18.00. In the evening, there was Slovenian village at SPTS school. Our  host families prepared very delicious Slovenian meals for us . All the teachers, students and families met at school canteen and firstly, SPTS school gave unforgettable presents for each group. It was very kind of them to prepare some souvenirs for the groups at their school by means of their students own works. Also, the group coordinators thanked Slovenian team members and families for their hospitality and friendly companion.

The students  and teachers met in front of the hotel Zvezda at 7.10 a.m.  The departure time to go to Rogatec was 7.15 a.m. We arrived there at 9.00 and we visited the museum by two groups. Firstly, we were given information about Rogatec open air museum on video and then we had workshop of making a national instrument. It was also a great experience. We performed the national dance of Slovenia by means of this musical instrument. 



After this workshop, we went around the open air museum of Rogatec with the guide. During the tour everyone had a chance of making and tasting his own bread which was a very good idea.  Moreover  we also made our own candles there. Before leaving Rogatec, we had nice belongings to remind us of this fascinating museum.



 Between 12.00 and 13.30 all the groups had delicious lunch. Then, we went to Ptujand to have a  guided tour of Ptuj castle. It was very interesting to see the potraits of Ottoman sultan and soldiers on the wall of the castle. We were glad to learn that this collection of portraits had been displayed in İstanbul last year. Also the piano collection was very attractive. All the groups had free time for shopping between 16.30 and 18.00. It was time to depart for Murska Sobota at 18.00.

On Tuesday all the teachers and students met at SPTS at 8.30 a.m. The students attended some classes.  They  presented their videos about their countries to Slovenian students . At the same time, teachers were having great experience of Slovenian national dances such as TOČAK AND SOTIŠ. It was really enjoyable and all the teachers were really good at dancing with the help of  our great dancing teacher VITO. By the way, the student who played accordion was very talented. He helped the teachers catch the rhythm of the dances. 


 Then second workshop of making gingerbread Celec began. It was also a nice and different experience to make our own gingerbread Celecs. They will be unforgettable memories from Slovenia for all of us.
 





After our delicious lunch, students and teachers had guided tour around Murska Sobota. Students were given task while doing sightseeing around the city. They were supposed to take photos of the city in order to make their own films about Musrka Sobota that would be done on Thursday.
The city tour was guided by Ludvik and he gave some historical details about the city. It was really interesting to learn that we were staying in a hotel of which building was the government building of two week Republic. The city was small and flat. So, it was easy to walk around the whole city. At 3.00 o’clock it was end of the working.





 At 18.00 p.m. students met at Maximus that is the one of the shopping center in the city in
 order to play bowling with pizza and drink while teachers were having dinner at a nice restaurant there. The meal was tasteful and all groups had very good time there.
